President Barzani on Arabian Gulf Cup: I take pride in this Iraqi accomplishment

2023-01-06T19:39:00.000000 On Friday, the President of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, Nechirvan Barzani, expressed his Pleasure in participating in the opening ceremony of the 25th Arabian Gulf Cup in Basra Governorate, southern Iraq.Barzani stated on Twitter, I praise our dear people in Basra and all our people for hosting this essential championship.

I take pride in this Iraqi achievement and invite the countries taking part in the competition with my genuine dreams of success for all.

The 25th Arabian Gulf Cup, known as Khaleeji Zain 25 for sponsorship reasons, will be the 25th edition of the biennial football competitors for the 8 members of the Arab Gulf Cup Football Federation.

The competition will be hosted in Iraq for the very first time considering that 1979, in the city of Basra
