Women activists stage protest demanding justice for Nirmala Kurmi in capital
Dozens of ladies rights activists from Nepalgunj are once again in Kathmandu staging demonstration for over 2 weeks for the 3rd time in the previous twoand-a-half years to press the federal government to find those who abducted and killed Nirmala Kurmi.
Nirmala was widowed in 2005 and was last seen in 2012 when she was 52 years of ages after her 2 children died under strange scenarios in a span of 10 days in 2010.
Activists declare that she and her household were framed and killed by powerful residents and land mafia to grab nearly 16,000 square metres (125 kattha) land she owned.Minister Lamichhane, who had as soon as vehemently spoken demanding justice for Nirmala when he was a reporter, advised the activists of the same and inquired to give up the demonstration, assuring them that the authority had actually been dealing with the case.
