HETAUDA, DECEMBER 31CPN-Maoist Centre's Shalikram Jamkattel has been appointed as the party's parliamentary party leader in Bagmati Province. Deuba elected NC parliamentary party leader NC parliamentary party leader election underway The party had initiated the process of selecting its parliamentary party leader yesterday, but after no consensus was reached on any name, a meeting of the party today unanimously decided on Jamkattel as its parliamentary party leader. It is interesting to note that though the party said the selection was consensual, the party's province Chairperson Saral Sahayatri Poudel has taken exception to Jamkattel's selection.Besides Jamkattel, Poudel himself, former minister Yuvaraj Dulal and Ganga Narayan Shrestha had also staked claim to the post.
