KATHMANDU, SEPTEMBER 29At least 13 climbers from Seven Summit Treks today scaled Mt Dhaulagiri opening a route to true summit point of the mountain. Chris Warner among 54 climbers from 8K Expeditions scales Manaslu China bars top US climbers from entering Tibet According to Chhang Dawa Sherpa, SST's Director, legendary climbers including Mingma Sherpa, Tenjin (Lama) Sherpa and Nima Rinji Sherpa stood atop the 8,167-metre mountain becoming the first team to reach the summit point this season.With the successful ascent, Mingma Sherpa, SST's Chairman, also completed all real summits of the 14 peaks.

Mingma has scaled true summit of Mt Manaslu a couple of weeks ago. Youngest climber Nima Rinji Sherpa also completed his ninth peak at the age of 17.

Nima Rinji from Makalu, Sankhuwasabha, holds multiple climbing records, having scaled nine 8,000ers at the age of 17.

Tenjin is the record-holding climber who along with Kristin Harila completed 14 peaks in just 92 days."Our team reached the summit of Dhaulagiri-I this morning while establishing the summit route," Chhang Dawa added.

Mingtemba Sherpa, Pasang Nurbu Sherpa, Alina Pekova (Russia), Alasdair Mckenzie (France), Hoeskuldur Tryggvason (Iceland), Moeses Fiamoncini (Brazil), Pasang Dawa Sherpa, Nangba Sherpa, Mingma Nurbu Sherpa and Pemba Dorchi Sherpa also scaled the mountain."Alasdair Mckenzie has completed his 12th peak while Moeses Fiamoncini made it to the summit point without using oxygen," Chhang Dawa shared. .
