Out of the total amount allocated by the Finance Ministry, Rs 930 million was dispatched to the respective districts on Monday, as reported by the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority.Anil Pokhrel, the Chief Executive Officer of the Authority, informed the RSS, 'The Finance Ministry released Rs 1 billion on Sunday, and we sent Rs 930 million today.
The amount was distributed in line with the government's priority for the earthquake-affected people.'
In a cabinet meeting held on November 13, it was decided to allocate Rs 10 billion, and the Finance Ministry earmarked Rs 1 billion according to the cabinet's decision.
Pokhrel disclosed that Rs 540 million was sent to Jajarkot, Rs 340 million to Rukum Paschim, and Rs 50 million to Salyan.Previously, the Authority had disbursed Rs 1.41 billion for the construction of temporary housing.
According to the latest data, there are 60,337 beneficiaries.
