SHIRPUR: At least 10 people are feared dead in an accident involving a truck and some four wheelers and two wheelers on the Mumbai-Agra highway in Dhule district in Maharashtra, police said on Tuesday.According to Dhule SP Sanjay Barkund, five to six people also suffered serious injuries and they were being rushed to the nearby hospitals.The accident took place in Palasner village along the Madhya Pradesh border in Shirpur taluka of the district, on Tuesday morning.The SP told, A dumper truck which was moving towards Mumbai side on the highway apparently developed brake failure owing to which it hit some two wheelers and four wheelers along the road side and then rammed into a bus stop, adding that the truck then turned turtle.We fear that at least 10 people have died in the accident, the SP added.Senior police officers of Dhule district have rushed to the incident spot.
