Expressing dissatisfaction over the first action taken report submitted by Uttarakhand Pollution Control Board (UKPCB) on Joshimath subsidence, NGT has directed the board to submit a fresh report within three weeks and fixed the matter for further hearing on January 24.Taking cognisance of media reports on the Joshimath disaster,the NGT had constituted a nine-member committee headed by the chief secretary, SS Sandhu, to suggest remedial measures.
